Thatcham Weather Station - Sky image

The webcam updates every minute and overlooks Henwick Worthy Sports Ground, currently facing West / 270°

The camera is a Annke I61DR. This is not a traditional PC webcam, but an IP cam that works independently of any PC.
(Although PC based software is used to add the weather details to the image.)

Every every image you see here is also stored locally, over half a million per year!

At night time, the camera switches over to B&W as it is more sensitive, although the floodlights affect the time of changeover. It also has an IR Lamp, but that is not used as it would reflect in the window.
This camera has been in use since January 2018 as the previous camera had been stood in the window for about 10 years and had failed.
